Description: Over the course of six weeks, participants will deepen their understanding of the global refugee regime, strengthen their advocacy skills, and explore effective ways to contribute to international policy spaces.

Objectives:

  • Foster informed and impactful participation by refugee participants;
  • Support meaningful refugee participation in global processes;
  • Provide tools and knowledge to engage meaningfully in the technical discussions that shape global refugee policy.

Target Audience: The training is intended for advocates with lived experience of displacement and statelessness who are invited to attend the Progress Review in December of this year.

 The training is designed to provide a conceptual and practical understanding of the global refugee regime, advocacy around it, shaping policies, and systems change through supporting meaningful refugee participation in global processes that is meaningful, representative, accountable and democratically selected.
