R-SEAT and the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (IIHL) are thrilled to announce the launch of the preparatory training for advocates with lived experience of forced displacement attending this year’s Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme (ExCom), which will take place in Geneva Oct 6-10, 2025.   
 The training is designed to provide a conceptual and practical understanding of the global refugee regime, advocacy around it, shaping policies, and systems change through supporting meaningful refugee participation in global processes that is meaningful, representative, accountable and democratically selected. 
 

Over the course of six week, participants will strengthen their advocacy skills and explore effective ways to contribute to international policy spaces.
